Omega-3 are good fats that are essential for us to stay healthy. Our body cannot make them and hence we need to get them through our diet. There are different types of Omega 3s but amongst them Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA), Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA), and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) are the most available. The ALAs are plant based whereas EPAs and DHAs are derived from fatty fishes.
